In a little over two weeks I will be flying alone from Kansas City Missouri all the way to Georgia!! I am so excited to finally be coming up to the 5 day boot camp for The World Race! Over the past month I have gotten a ton of support, financially, emotionally, and spiritually and it truly touches my heart! I cannot believe I have surpassed 3,000 dollars of donations in just my missions fund! Not including any donations to my personal savings! God is so good!!
I wanted to just update everyone on how I have been preparing, what’s been happening in my life, and where it’s going next!
First off, I am super proud to announce I graduated from both my high school and 2 year law enforcement program at a career center!! Graduating was one of the most inspiring and exciting moments I’ve had thus far, and equally stressful and overwhelming.
As I walked across the stage I was reminded how good God’s promises are. He has my future in his control. My career, missions trip, future spouse, and future accomplishes. I have never felt so at peace about my future before in my life, because I know now that I can’t control it. I can only control my level of trust and faith in my Savior.
Reflecting back on my graduation, it was so amazing to close the chapter of my schooling, and move into missions and the workforce! I am so excited to see where God takes me and all my classmates of 2021 in our lives! With graduating comes a LOT of change. It was sad to part with so many friends, but the most important ones I will upkeep a relationship with.
God has blessed me with amazing support from family, friends, and mentors. I have gotten to start a discipleship group with my church, meet and schedule a time to speak to my church!! (This is so huge and one of the most exciting things!!!), and I have started my support letters! And boot camp is 2 weeks away?!?!?! How amazing!! I will give an update and lots of photos of my little trip to Georgia and explain what God does in my heart throughout it!
I am beyond motivated and ready to make this change into adulthood with everything I have. This missions trip with The World Race is just the start! I know God has so many things in store for me, and I am ready for him to write my story.
Thank you SO SO much for not only reading this, but supporting me. I can’t do this without the kingdom of God on my side. I trust that you are here alongside my journey for a reason, I hope I can inspire you with my story, and to all my family and friends – I will miss you so much when I embark on this journey but you will always be close to my heart!
