The fundraising journey has began!!

Wow I never thought preparing for this trip would be extensive! I am so blessed to begin the journey of preparing for the big trip ahead!

When I first got the news I was accepted I immediatly thought about what God would have in store for me in the period of waiting for boot camp & launching date in September. I knew I needed to tell all my family and friends I was offically, a racer. But with this great joy comes a great responsibility! I would now embark on a fundraising journey and begin to do things I have never even tried.

I am beginning a multitude of fundraising activities and outreach ideas!

-Adopt a box adoptabox.co

-GoFundMe gofundme.com/f/help-fund-a-world-race-missionary

-Word of mouth

-Speaking at churches

-Social media outreach (instagram @chloes._dreams)

-Blogging (just like this)

-Sending letters

-Email and text updates

and so much more!

It really has been fun to start thinking of what I can do in the future to spread the word of my adventure to glorify the name of Jesus! I want to sell and design WR gear for family, friends, and fellow racers to buy! Make art prints to sell, and so much more! It is truly exciting to start this process.

What am I going to bring??

So when I finally realized that I, Chloe Morales, a trinkets and clothes lover, would be BACKPACKING across three countries, it was a shocker. I would bring all I need in one bag, on my back. Wow. So what to buy, bring, and borrow?? A lot!

Items to buy included tent, sleeping bag, headlamp, mosquito net, sleeping bag liner, backpacking pack, hiking shoes, good sandals, my passport, travel sized items, plane tickets, etc!

I am compiling a long, yet minimal list of items I will need for this exciting trip. That's why donations really mean the world, because no matter how many hours I work at Chick-Fil-A, it won't be enough to even come close! I trust God he will provide where he leads me.

So what's next?

Learning more about effective missions, fundraising, and outreach. It will take time and YOUR support matters to me more than you know. I am so beyond blessed to have people all around the country supporting my mission to spread the good news.

Keep and eye out for more on what's to come for the World Race: Gap Year!

Lots of Love,

Chloe Morales
